GURU ARCHANA PALEKAR

Guru Smt. Archana Palekar is an expert in Classical Dance, Bharatnatyam. She started learning dance from Guru Shri. Ramesh Purav at the age of 6 years in 1962. As soon as she completed her training from her guru she was selected to perform in Bharat Darshan, initiated by Mr. Vasant Bapat and to perform world over. Further she also performed as a lead dancer in a dance drama directed by Vijaya Mehta and performed the same under Cultural Exchange in Western Germany and Switzerland. Along with her success in dance she also achieved a great appreciation in acting field by getting a Gold Medal for 2 consecutive years from Maharashtra State Govt.

Guru Smt. Mayoori Kharat is a pioneer in the field of Bharatnatyam, an Indian Classical Dance and presently working as the Managing Director and Choreographer in Nritya Kala Niketan. She started learning dance from Guru Smt. Archana Palekar at a tender age of 6 years. She completed her Visharad followed by Arangetram under the able guidance of her Guru. She has also successfully completed her Alankar (Masters) in Bharatnatyam and since then she has dedicated herself for teaching Bharatnatyam under Nritya Kala Niketan.
